We are Jim and Sharon Bergin and have owned dogs for the past 25 years.

Whilst showing our Dobermann back in the early 1980’s we saw and fell in love with the Hungarian Vizsla, when we lost our last Dobermann in January 1995 we finally acquired a beautiful Vizsla bitch, “Merecroft Fire and Ice “(Pumpkin) and so our love affair with this beautiful breed began.
We currently own five Vizslas, all with their different ways and personalities; life is never dull here at Roughshoot.
We take great care when planning and breeding a litter of puppies. Our new puppy owners can expect a lifetime of support and friendship from us.
As founder members of The Kennel Clubs Accredited Breeders Scheme, members of the Hungarian Vizsla club and the Hungarian Vizsla Society, we abide by and follow a strict code of ethics.
